Holistic wellness -1

Until a seeker settles in self awareness, holistic understanding of processes and self regulation methods related to following are essential :

1. Physical wellness:

Balanced understanding and ability to remain rooted in self awareness while experientially knowing biological states when interacting with the environment.

2. Emotional wellness:

Balanced understanding and ability to remain rooted in self awareness while experientially knowing dual emotions like Raaga-Dwesha, Harsha-Shoka, Sukha-dukha, Maan-apmaan etc. when interacting with the environment and others. Such a self regulatory ability in the face of dual emotions developed and strengthened over time through diverse and holistic lived experiences is key for further growth and development. This high emotional quotient culminates into neocortical emotions like self acceptance (divinity of self), acceptance of divinity of others, choicelessness, self compassion, compassion, self empathy, empathy etc.

3. Mental wellness:

Balanced understanding and ability to remain rooted in self awareness (~maintaining aloof attention) while experientially knowing the following:

a. Mild/intense mental activity in response to interaction with environment and others: uncertainty, insecurity, fear, confusion etc.

b. Outcomes and unintended consequences of decisions driven/dominated by ego.

c. Cognitive dissonance.

d. Conflict shocks (unexpected, highly acute and isolating) and self regulatory processes like conflict active and resolution states.
