Holistic healing pathways

Self awareness, holistic understanding, acceptance, ability to self regulate, maturity, experience, wellness status (physical, psychological) are key personal factors that determine how one responds to a conflicting event. Deficiency in one or more of these factors forms a fertile ground that influences ones ability to face the outcome of an event. Inability to accept an outcome or preference for a particular favorable outcome implies significant involvement or oneness in the event/its outcome thus triggering a conflict.

 a. Soul that is not deficient in the factors listed earlier: Such a soul sees through the event (~play), realizes the circumstance, in full acceptance and choice-less mode maturely responds to it. It does not have any agenda and preference. The flow of event continues and soul continues on its journey unperturbed.

b. Soul that is deficient in the factors listed earlier: If the conflict is not intense enough, it may not activate corresponding resolution workflow. The experience may be pushed in the subconscious mind. Repeatedly experiencing the same or similar conflicts over time incrementally reinforces the conflict in the subconscious. A tipping point trigger finally sets in motion a Workflow or pathway or narrative that is applicable to help resolve the conflict. It consistently tries to seek conscious attention in a bid to facilitate resolution.

If it receives the conscious attention (~ energy) it seeks, the corresponding workflow of conflict active state and conflict resolution state is set in motion.

On the contrary, if the soul is too weak or busy with other life lessons then it may get postponed. The conflict is then pushed to the unconscious for the time being. The lesson is not learned. Repeated lack of addressal and bypassing the lesson/experience results in a habit which in turn results in a pattern and finally into a blindspot. Over time and over multiple births, the soul might miss out this impending lesson. It may continue to make the same mistakes and arrive at the same milestone - a loop. The soul might either realize its folly and birth with the explicit purpose of complete this learning. Alternatively, the conflict might resurface after a life altering event or through a Spiritual master's (Sadguru) grace.

The conflict resolution pathway should ideally result in a life enriching real world experience (~ clean exit) with minimal unintended consequences. Unfortunately, the same deficient personal factors and a plethora of familial, social and community factors may disrupt the pathway. The soul might encounter hanging conflicts or presence of parallelly active conflict pathways or a constellation of conflicts. Such complications need significant intervention.

While on this self healing journey, following methods can facilitate progress and facilitate early recovery:
1. Ayurveda might help in following ways:
(i) Relaxation of the psyche: Calms and grounds the psyche in the face of high intensity thought activity that is trying to help resolve the conflict.
(ii) Strengthening the function of the organ and brain: Herbs that facilitate a good appetite and appropriate digestion (Agni dipana, Pachana) ensure nourishment and availability of energy necessary to weather the conflict.
(iii) Wellness routines (Dincharya): a streamlined, dynamic (adaptive to changes - daily and seasonal) routine that facilitates and ensures the nourishment and optimal functioning of the organs, body and psyche using the limited energy available to function. It also serves to partially divert attention from the conflicting thoughts.

2. Homeopathy medicines may help in following ways: impart strength to the core persona thus facilitating the ability of the soul to weather the conflict. It also helps address roadblocks or bottlenecks on the way and facilitates the dissolution of the subconscious associations.

3. Yoga imparts discipline, flexibility, energy, strength and stamina necessary to overcome the conflict.

4. Pranayama and Kriya Yoga improve vibrational frequency of the organs, body and psyche; prepare the stage for meditation.

5. Meditation (Dhyana) enhances subtle awareness, relaxation, imparts energy, helps overcome negative thought loops - all necessary to break the conflict's stranglehold.

6. Spiritual self study (Adhyatma) helps understand the core underlying reasons that led to the conflict; facilitate acceptance, a change in perspective and attitude towards the current state; impart higher understanding; and strengthen the soul's ability to weather the storm. Additionally, the affirmations arising out of an appropriate understanding help dissolve the subconsious associations, end the loop and propel the soul onwards in its self realization journey.
