Breath awareness - knowing the path and walking the path.

Breath awareness is the first step towards holistical health and wellness. One may gather a lot of information about it, understand it superficially, and fail to make a breakthrough. Although it is a do it yourself process, it is an art that demands consistent and correct practice. Its benefits manifest gradually as one experientially understands its nuances and how and where to apply it.

Posture: Sukhasana
When: anytime, for starters begin at the beginning of your day - after waking up or end of your day before going to sleep.
How: Pay relaxed and aloof attention to each incoming and outgoing breath.
Duration: start with 5 minutes and increase incrementally. Over time, rather than having a fixed time, incorporate it in your daily routine. Most importantly practice the art of taking a blissful breath regularly when experiencing conflicting or stressful events, observing the initial stages of stress (demand supply gap), emotional outburst or involvement in conflicting narratives.

While your will experience other milestones as you move forward, they are best experienced rather than simply reading and visualizing about them. Kickstart the journey and persist. If you have questions ask for guidance from a living and experienced master who has mastered his breath.
