Simple herbal interventions that strike at the root of Bleeding piles (Hemorrhoids).

Imbalance of Jatharagni (digestive fire) lies at the root of Arsha (Hemmorhoids). Inappropriate daily routine, lack of enough sleep, lack of enough exercise, sedentary lifestyle, excessive pressure exerted while defecating are other contributing factors.

Jatharagni mandya (weak digestive fire) causes improper processing of food and generates toxins (Ama). Liver unable to completely detoxify the excessive circulating toxins (Ama) leads to a change in blood parameters. This leads to Portal hypertension which in turn leads to development of perineal varices. In the long run, if Jatharagni mandya is left untreated and continued exposure to contributing factors leads to Dhatvagni mandya.

L ack of enough movement, standing/sitting posture for long hours involves minimal pelvic and leg muscle contraction. This leads to stagnation of perineal venous blood. which combined with higher portal vein pressure prepares the ground for perineal blood vessel engorgement. Constipation or excessive pressure while defecation causes these engorged blood vessels to rupture. Clinical presentation of frank and fresh bleeding (low portal hypertension: oozing of blood, high portal hypertension: blood spouts) is a key sign of hemorrhoids (bleeding piles).

Following simple interventions may help resolve the issue:
