Overcoming abdominal distention/bloating/indigestion with a simple and effective herbal recipe.

We all frequently encounter digestive symptoms like indigestion, abdominal distention ("measurable increase in abdominal girth" [1]), bloating (characterized by "trapped gas, abdominal pressure, and fullness." [1]), abdominal cramps, and abdominal pressure. Many of these symptoms may co-exist [1]. The underlying triggers/causative factors may vary ("food intolerances, a previous infection that perturbed the intestinal microbiota, disordered visceral sensation, delayed intestinal transit, or an abnormal viscero-somatic reflux" [1]).

Following herbal recipe is quite effective when one is faced with the above symptoms:
1. Prepare a moderately thick paste of freshly cleaned mint leaves (Latin: Mentha piperita, Hindi: Pudina, URL), ideally on a mortar and pestle.
2. Add the paste to warm cow's milk. Add palm jaggery/coconut sugar/sugarcane jaggery to taste.
3. Drink it once or twice a day on an empty stomach.

One can notice the results in a few hours.

Note: Ensure you are not allergic to the ingredients.
